So I was watching an episode of Modern Marvels on the History Channel..."Grease"

THey were talking about the grease which they use on the space shuttle.

Guess who makes it?

Bel-Ray!

Yup, they said something to the effect of "We get this custom formulated high-performance grease from a company called Bel-Ray..."

I saw a show on aircraft carriers, and they use a Bel-Ray grease on the catapult launch system

Yup!

Bel-Ray is one of the largest industrial grease & lubricant providers in the nation.

The also make a number of oils, lubes & Hydraulic fluids marketed under "Farm / construction" equipment manufacture's name.

HAHA DAMN I HAD IT ALL WRONG!!!!!

I had just watched one about the shuttle right before it, and you sir are correct, it was an aircraft carrier, not the shuttle!

I'd say it's in the top 2 with Maxima FFT. I prefer the Maxima because it is easier to distribute in the filter, tacks up like Bel Ray and costs about 30% less.

Bel-Ray waterproof grease is the only one to use IMO. The filter oil too.

Thanks fo rthe kind words everyone. When I took the job as the Brand Manager I had no idea how much other stuff they produce. The company was originally started 60+ years ago making a lubricant for commercial bakeries. Fast forward to today we make lubrication for powersports, industrial and mining applications and yes the catapult grease on aircraft carriers. Our No-Tox line for use in production lines in the food industry are some of the best in the field.

Used the stuff way back in the day(when it was cool to run a BelRay sticker on your bike like the factory riders)
Still use there products.

SAME HERE...maybe longer. 2 oz's to a gallon, never had and issue ...ever. ran it at 100 to 1 with zero issues too but dad said go back to 67 to 1. MC1...only the best use the best
