JS7 is a headcase.............always has been as a pro..........He hasn't gotten any faster relative to his competition until proven otherwise. ..............My JS7 prediction-------------> He crashes out of at least 3 events trying to catch, pass or put some distance between himself and RV2.

Don't wanna hear the whole 24-0 b.s. That was long ago against a field he KNEW he was gonna beat. Nobody really even tried to challenge him. It was like the MC heydays of SX where everyone just raced for second place. That's why he didn't implode...because he didn't feel any pressure. I am not necessarily talking only about racing pressure but also about pressure he puts on himself.

The guy also doesn't have that TOTAL concentration the great ones have. It appears he lets his concentration slip for a moment or two during races and while you can get away with that in MX to some extent, in SX it will bite you every time.

And NO...... irrespective of his records I do not consider him one of the greats. That list would include but is not limited to guys like......

Joel Robert
Bob Hannah
Jeff ward
MC
Stefen Everts
RC

pfffft

James is as talented a rider we have ever seen. You should at least respect that, Your points sound really ignorant He regularly creates new ways to get around a track, creating lines the other guys would not think of doing. He was the only 1 to ever really make RC push his own limits, . When anyone comes along, and there riding style changes the the way people ride a motorcycle, that alone speaks as James being on an all time list somewhere. No one has done that since MC.

I do respect his talent. He is arguably THE most talented rider to sling a leg across a dirt bike.

Have never said otherwise.

If you want to be a hater... cool. Just stay out of the threads with the guys you hate... click on the Chad or RV threads etc.

Or... make a complete douche bag of yourself.

Like anyone knows who's going to crash/win/lead etc.. (friggin clowns)

Oh.. BTW. JS7 will qualify first, win his heat and pull off the A1 victory... Just sayin BRO. Smile

He does crash a lot and had crashed a lot. But he came up having to ride so fast and so hard with RC, it forced him into a mode of 110% or crashing. Thats what RC was willing to do, so James had to do the same. Who else of all the top guys has beat RC more then James? The dude gave RC fits in the outdoors and in supercross and was really the only dude to do it consistently.

And I don't care what anyone says. 24-0 is fucking badass.

But you can not deny his speed, like mxb2 is doing.

Yes 24-0 is badass, I never said it wasn't. Whoever said it doesn't make him one of the greats is crazy. And your point about racing RC is a good point, as only Reed has also raced RC of the current crop of top riders. However, he would be much more accomplished currently, IMO, if he ditched the RC racing style once RC ditched the sport, because it doesn't seem to have worked well the past 2 seasons. And I disagree with mxb2 about FMOTP. James Stewart is the fastest rider currently on the planet in SX. He won the most poles in qualifying last season, and on a track, by himself, for one lap, he will put down the fastest laptime of anyone else. That is what fastest means, and it isn't worth anything. Ryan Villopoto is the best motocross racer currently on the planet in SX and MX, as he won both titles last year. Same with Dungey the year before. That title holds a heck of a lot more prestige, as it means they were CONSISTENLY the fastest man during the RACES during those years. All three of these riders should go down as legends in the end, however the latter 2 are more likely to win a championship this season than James, based on what we have seen at the races the past 2 seasons.
Wasnt you that said it. Someone did though.

And yeah crashing has been his downfall. But I think he is the fastest guy on the track at any point.

Does that equal championships? Nope.

Has he won his fair share. Yes.

And he IS the best 125 rider ever. Ever.

So who ever said he shouldnt be mentioned as one of the greats is a clown. Only two have went 24-0. And we all know who they were.

You act like he has never one single championship, He's been a champion his entire life, I'm a TC41 fan, but when listen to arrogant BS like this i'm gonna call you out. 2 years ago he crossed lines and got landed on at the beginning of the season, Broken hand. Last year his confidence was down along with setup problems, He's had 1 fukin BAd year, which was what 4th in points, which to almost anyone else would be considered a FANTASTIC YEAR. when he had a chance still to win the title. Everyone should look at the pedestal we put him up on. He's held to a different standard. RV2 wadded himself out of the championship the year Dungey Won it, but no one talks Shit about that. Just Sayin !

If you think James Stewart isn't one of the greats, being the #3 winningest rider in Mx/Sx history, you need to stop smoking pot or using meth. The guy will probably end his career with more wins than anyone other than RC.

Here's a good example: Mark "The Bomber" Barnett is known as a great of the sport. He really only had wins and championships in the 125 class. James Stewart broke all The Bomber's 125 records in Mx, he shattered all of Showtime's 125 Sx wins and yet you claim his isn't a great? That's not even counting his 24-0 season in 450 Mx.

I wonder what it is like to be this naive.

Until there's 20 guys squeezing into that first corner at A1 and on, it's impossible to say where any one rider is comfort and consistency wise... Based on history, you can surmise that RV, JS, CR, RD, etc... will be at the front of the pack MOST of the time... but until those guys are on the track together along with the rest of the field, who knows... a video of them riding alone on their personal test track doesn't mean much... Look at the lines on the track, he hits the same one over and over apparently...

Which makes me wonder, do these guys spend any amount of testing, training in more race type situations? Videos are always of them riding alone, maybe with a teammate but never really racing along side 19 other riders... I honestly think that's what JS7 needs more of... sure he's fast, maybe even the fastest on the planet when he's riding alone... but put him in a situation where he has to slow down to deal with other riders and things seem to fall apart...
has anyone noticed lately since 4 stroke became the mainstream that tracks always seem to be 1 line when asked by the riders? it seems to me and I'm not a entire course locator but it seems to me that 4 strokes create 1 lined track in byram to do to their resistance to change directions and motion easily

I have said it before and will say it again, James Stewart no matter what he does, will never be fully accepted in the sport by a lot of low minded individuals!! Does he care, no, does he get paid, hells yeah, lol!!! Call him what you want, he is laughing all the way to the bank, losers!!! I find that certain groups like to gather or try to gather others into negative thinking because that is all that they have going for them!! If they were really fans of the sport, they would realize the adversity every rider goes through to get to the pro ranks. Every rider that rides fast and has the heart to win will have sampled the ground at some time, and if any of the "yahoos" here really ride, they will know this true when you are pushing!! Show me one rider that rides hard and has never taken a dirt nap? In 15 years from now the Stewart legacy will be that he never gave an inch and will up there with the likes of Hannah, DeCoster RC, MC and we will be saying how lucky we were to have seen him ride during our time and his time!!

I know it might sound stupid to some people, and i could be completely wrong, but James seems to be throwing much gnarlier whips and scrubs already in the vids and things i've seen of him on the JGR bike. Like the past few seasons his whips were still sick, they just seem like he's more comfortable in throwing the bike around and properly laying it over (like in the past)
