Metal Mulisha Named Official Casual Sponsor for Valli-Star Rockstar Yamaha Team
Leading Supercross and Motocross team will feature Mulisha branding at events throughout 2012

Irvine, CA (December 28, 2011) - Metal Mulisha will revisit its roots in Supercross and Motocross with an agreement to become the official casual sponsor for the Valli-Star Supercross/Motocross team.

As part of the agreement, the team will be seen with the Metal Mulisha logo on their helmets, jerseys and bikes. Led by top riders such as Ryan Sipes, Kyle Cunningham, Austin Stroupe, Gareth Swanepohl, Nico Izzi, Ryan Morris and Kyle Peters, the team will be competing at all 2012 events on the AMA Supercross and Motocross tours.

Led by “The General” Brian Deegan, Mulisha recently held the team introduction at the Yamaha test track located in Corona, CA.

“I’m pumped about getting back into Supercross and Moto racing with the Valli-Star team,” said Metal Mulisha’s Brian Deegan. “We’re joining forces with a great team that knows how to win, so it will be cool to see them wearing Mulisha on the podium next year.”

Mulisha has a strong background in both Motocross and Supercross, with founder Brian Deegan

starting his career in Supercross at the age of 17, before helping to usher in Freestyle Motocross during the late 1990s. At the LA Coliseum In 1997, Deegan famously won the Supercross Lites race and in true rebel style, ghost rode his bike across the finish line. Many other Mulisha riders, such as Ronnie Faisst and Cam Sinclair, began racing in Supercross early in their careers. Earlier this year, Mulisha expanded into the amateur ranks of Supercross and Motocross with the signing of young rider, Andrew Pierce, who debuted with Mulisha by winning four championships at the Mini Olympics.

The AMA Supercross season will kick off January 7th from Anaheim, CA, while the AMA Motocross season begins in May. For more information, visit:

Nico's the only one of the bunch in MSR. The rest are spread out between Scott (Peters, Sipes, Cunningham and Swanepoel) and Answer (Morais and Stroupe).

I see that at least two of the team members fit the logo! wanna guess who? I'll be the clothes line is flying off the shelves! I'll bet the parents are telling their kids, "WOW! German, white supremists, Nazi helmets, skulls! Yeah! You can get them all!" Maybe you'll get more KKK members joining?

Someone comes along, that you might not like, and you start shitting on them for supporting riders.

GOOD JOB ASSHATS.

Now go whine about there not being any money in motocross and lack of sponsors.

No shit! Or bagging on someone wearing a FOX shirt or a brand being too mainstream. STFU! If these companies go away, who is going to support the riders and pay for all of it to happen?

I have somewhat of a love hate relationship with MSR. I see, k-dub I want to buy a set, I see the MM and dont wan't it anymore. Damn, I feel like walking in circles.

Then answer has James so its a no no. Fox is too mainstream. Shift has the HH guys. Fly has the right guys but that gear is ugly as fuck.

God damn isn't it tough to buy a set of gear?

Thor stuff is junk. 6-7 rides in their top of the line pants and I blow out the knee leather. MSR lasts way longer.

Sound like it's hard for you to be a poser. I just buy what i like the looks of and don't care who the f*#k is wearing it or what anyone thinks.

This will be the most hated team in the pits by the group of "elite" that act like this sport is a country club. We race in the middle of nowhere, shit in a portable toilet, and have the option for track food that will make you shit your pants...
