Hey guys, who will come to A1??
I will go with a friend (he is a surfer, he can't understand :D ), this is the first time I go to a SX Race (I'm italian)...
Advices? Timeline?
I bought the Pit Passes too!

My dream is to meet some local riders and see their during a training day, so if someone want help me, I will appreciate!

Regarding Pit Passes, don't buy one, just drink a Monster from an AM/PM store and take the empty can:

"Don't miss your chance to meet the riders and get autographs at the Pit Party. Just recycle any empty Monster Energy can at the Pit Entrance for your free admission to the Pit Party from 12:30PM - 6:00PM with a valid Saturday, January 7, 2012 event ticket. "

Stop by the MOTOSPORTS/FOREMOST Ins/TiLUBE rig and get an autograph from 450 racers Nick Wey and Chris Blose!

Or you can do what I do.

Buy a Monster on your way to the race, and dump it out in the parking lot on your way to the gate.

Well, yes.
I dig an occasional coffee-flavored Monster...every couple of months during SX season.
Actually, the family next door saves us their empty Monster cans. Last year we took a total of 24 to the Dallas and St Louis SX and used all but three for our group.

You only need 1 empty can to get a pit pass.

What are you doing to learn English? taking classes? or just on your own?

I hope you get to see a lot of SX races and have a great time on your visit here, how long are you staying?

you can get into the stadium pretty early. i've gone as early as 9am. get to the pits early or you'll be waiting in big lines to get autographs.

I'm studying in a ESL Class, every morning from monday to thursday...
I have been here since one month and a will stay for other 4... Unfortunately not so much Sad
I come back to Italy on Aprile the 12th....

Unfortunately I have no friend who love motocross so for me is difficult to go to see some tracks or race, but I will TRY!

I love this place, the people and the weather, but I MISS MY BIKE!!! :D

You're going to love supercross dude! Get there around 12ish. From 12:30-2:00 all the riders will be on the track for practice and timed qualifying. You get an idea of who is looking good plus it is just entertaining seeing the talent out there. After the first practice is a good time to go the pits, lot of teams will be making changes to the bikes and the riders will be signing autographs. Around 4:00 the riders go out for one more timed qualifying session. After that I would either get something to eat or head back to the pits. 7:00 is showtime. Enjoy

I follow SX every year, but in Italy we have to wait torrents and usually we see the race on Monday...

We do it the other way. Get there at 11 hang in parking lot, drink a lil, throw the football around. Once gates open at 1230 head straight to the pits. Less crowded, easy to walk around snag what swag is there. Go back inside and catch second practice. During practice you can sit anywhere. Bout five practice is over and they groom the track.we usually head back to the parking lot and eat. Plenty of fast food within walking distance. They only let you exit and re-enter through one gate, so park on the south side of the stadium. Good time to drink again, but keep it low profile cause they have undercover cops walking around. Back in at seven.
