I am heading down a couple of days after Christmas with the toyhauler and a few bikes. Gonna do some family stuff that week but they fly out on the 3rd of Jan and then it's an all moto dude trip! I would love to hook up with some peeps and do some riding.
I plan on riding:
Elsinore
Starwest
Perris
Pala
Piru
Not sure whats happenin with Gorman these days but always liked that place (any local news?)
Milestone
Also going to hit Zaca on the way back to Oregon.

I live just minutes away from both tracks and would reccomend that you add these two tracks in your ride rotation.
How is Perris these days?
Remember that Milestone has a membership, but i think in Transworld there is an flyer in the back that will cover this, and LOCK YOUR SHIT !
Also i think Pala also has membership, Cool thing about Racetown and Comp edge is they are 20 bucks and you can CAMP For FREE at RACETOWN And COMP is 15 MINUTES Away...... GREAT STAFF at BOTH DR. ARM PUMP ! FUN GUY.
45 BUCKS at Elsinore, just paid it and won't be going back for a while.
Hit Cahuilla Creek F'nn Awesome right NOW !
Also best kept secret in So Cal ........ Cal City MX. If you could hit this on a sat or sun on your way down you won't regret it, The crowd is ultra light, ohh and they are the most personable owners in the Business hands down ! Free camping at Cal City, and, you can ride all the way to the HUSKY Monument or Randsburg from there. My Sig pic is Cal city
DS56, we are departing thursday evening the 29th and will be leaving socal after the SX the 7th. I like the idea of of a BBQ and brewskis, at the track. We will be bouncing around down there staying with different friends, but we should hook up and moto.
Hallzilla, Never hit CalCity... what town is that near? we might be able to hit it on the way up or down. We should be getting down there friday morningish and want to ride somewhere a little further north....was thinking Piru, Gorman or CalCity? something not to far off I-5 and that will be in decent shape.
Maybe there?
Wish I was going to be there! Have fun guys!

I'm not sure about prep on fridays, But the owners are so cool, that if you make contact with him, I'm sure he'll take care of you.

If you want your best bang for your buck
Racetown no membership $20.00 fri sat sun free camping with pay into track
Comp no membership $20.00
Cahuilla creek "" "" "" "" same
mondays Gorman track $5
thursdays Gorman track $5 PREP on these days open all week
Judging from word of mouth, Elsinore is losing its mojo pretty quickly.
They are getting trashed by some of the local guys, here are a few reasons...
The website said if you registered before they opened, your membership was free.... Turns out its not....Something about the website builder and teh management not being on the same page..Whatever the reason is, it looks bad.
Nobody could get a straight answer from them on spectators. It was supposed to be ten bucks for opening weekend, they were supposed to have a vendor row, bands, freestyle shows. Turns out it's ten bucks everyday for spectators..
Website said it was going to be 55 bucks a month for unlimited riding, after a week they raised it to 75.
My little complaint is they don't allow anyone on the track. I took my camera looking to get some cool shots of the new track. Turns out you can't get access to the track if your not "industry." Really funny part is I have been allowed on the KTM, Kawasaki and Yamaha tracks in the past, but can't get on Elsinore.lol
I get that they are new and there will be some kinks to work out. Just seems they should of had a better plan from the get go. The problems are basic things that should of been thought out prior to opening. I wont get into the dirt there, maybe they have it worked out now?
I was thinking that after seeing all the press rx and tnswld have been giving it lately.
Be kinda cool to ride and see some guys do a final shakedown before the race sat.
