Hi everybody,

I'm from Holland and will visit california for 3 weeks in January. for training and visiting the supercross races.
There is only one problem and that is that I do not have a bike to ride. could anyone here help me?

Which motorcycle store has the best buys on a 250 fourstroke bike. and are willing to buy the back after 3 weeks?
or any rental companies?

But i am not looking for riding programs like mx heaven or mx vacations.
because i have a place to stay with friends.

I am just looking for a bike that I can ride for 3 weeks.

I would suggest you call some dealers and ask. I really doubt anyone is willing to basically rent out a new MX bike for 3 weeks at a bargain price. Unless you are willing to shell out $1,000 a week, I'm not sure there is anything out there for you. I'm not sure anyone would be willing at that price even. I did find a streetbike rental outfit and they were charging $1,000 for a streetbike. No one is going to agree to buy back a bike at a certain price that might be blown up after 3 weeks of use. Maybe just have your friends buy you a used bike to use for 3 weeks and then sell it after you go home?

I would really not like to risk and buy a used bike. and i have seen prices of used bikes and they are really expensive for a decent used bike.

Contact Chapparel Motorsports they will sell you bike and buy it back and or consign it to sell, they also rent bikes just make sure you ask for a fresh one. I am sure Mxvacations or Mxheaven would rent you bike for three weeks straight or guide you in the right direction.

There are plenty of good used bikes on craigslist. I'm sure you can find a really nice one for 4000, no problem and then easily sell it for a thousand less. You will lose your ass on a new one.
