Went today and was really suprised, 3 tracks with each offering something different. These tracks are almost as big as the average track here in Florida but having 3 big tracks an awesome pee wee track and trails makes this place notable.

Good clay to sand clay mix on each track. Would be nice to have an advanced to expert SX type track but as business grows maybe it would be an option.

Mount Dora FL, 441 to 46 east to round lake road head North. Tracks just past school on left. Looks like a blast from some pics on other sites.

Well it seems the competing track in the area turned in Sorrento for doing business before all their permits were finalized. Now the county has shut him down until permitting has gone through proper channels, probably a 4 to 6 week delay. He was supposed to meet with the county a day or 2 ago and see if they'd let him remain open. Knowing county government around here he's shut down for a bit.

Is there any word on when this place will re-open?
Who is the competing track in the area? I live in lake county and I knew nothing of this track, or the other you speak of, I am always looking for places to ride close to home.

Yeah, I have been to Bithlo many times, thought you were talking about another track in Lake county closer to Mt.Dora/Sorrento.
There is a new track opening close to you in Sumterville, suppose to be done in a few days.
Thumper Talk mentioned a track in Brooksville called Mondon Road, you know anything about that?

Mondon Hill property was good during the dry season the last few years now it's underwater. Didn't know anything about a track in Sumterville wherabouts? Heading to Georgia for 3 days of riding for the kid.

I just found old GoPro footage of me putting around. I uploaded the 3 tracks last night. It's a shame it closed down, as it was 15 minutes away. But the tracks were pretty sketchy.
