I thought I would share my travel box and my old shop box that I just replaced just so I could prove to everyone that I am NO tool snob!

Travel box...so full its hard to find anything...I just this Craftsman three drawer for my birthday last year....you should have seen how full the other one was. Unfortnately, my travel box has to have a lot of tools because we own a lot of old things (not my bikes) that seem to break down a lot.

Socket drawer

Screwdrivers and open-end wrenches

Big stuff

Frequently used items..so I don't have to dig!

This is my old shop box (retired to the garage now.) It was a handy-me-down from my dad that he got in 1993. It has steel slides that can only hold 25 in each drawer....which most of them are bent. You can still get the same box at Sears today for $100. I had it stuffed. As you can see the more stickers the better!

Sec 114....that is the sickest ride ever! You HAVE to post that setup in the "show your trail" thread. I drive a little 1994 Nissan two wheel drive truck.....As a younger friend of mine said to me...."sounds like you have your priorities straight." I would rather have a nice bike then a nice car/truck. I just wished I had AC. Also, I will never bash you for your showing your toolbox...I wan't more guys with smaller stuff to post...it doesn't matter how many tools you have...its all in fun!
y thank you kind sir, i will look up that thread, as im sure i remember seeing it earlier this year. i had a basic chevy silverado truck that i did use for work when i was living in sac. used it in 08- beginning of 2011 for riding when i moved back to florida. but because of gas mileage (or lack of) i had to downgrade or not ride. getting a little over 30mph compared to 10-11 max is a big deal.
anyways back at hand; as my small toolbox so far hasnt let me down yet. as stated briefly before, i do have a best friend with a shop to do any real work and always 2-6 friends at tracks that may have an odball tool i dont have, so for now this works.

I just got a Snap F80 3/8 ratchet off of ebay for $40, normally like $90. Its been hardly used...it is the smoothes ratchet I have ever used.....I can only afford used truck brand tools.

Took me about three years to accumulate my snap on tools. Some stuff I have are craftsmen still, but most my special and hand tools and drivers are snap on. I love the feel of the screw drivers they really bite into the screw. And their taps and drills and Allen and pretty much everything bites and feels really good. I one day, will get a snap on box to put it in.
