Willing to drive to about Georgia, but i want to get to a track and be able to ride all week there. Possibly go to a different track in the same week.

The Carolina's are nice in the winter. Typically in the 50's in the daytime.

Looked up where you live......that's going to be a haul no matter where you go ..... But Canada is close

Start at Monster Mountain then you can work your way back up to Millcreek and AMP then hit Sand Mountain on the last day. All of these tracks are in AL and open most days, AMP maybe only on weekends, can't remember for sure. all of them post on here http://jmrpowersports.com/forum/

Nothing like getting completely off track, somehow "places close to Michigan" turned into a Texas thread. Sorry about that jakez704.

Anyway, there are 2 in Ohio - not sure where Vulcan is but I'm Detroit Metro area and one is about 3 hours away and the other about 5 I think. I haven't been to either yet because I didn't hear about them until later in the spring last year so I'm planning to go in January. I have heard from friends that they're both good, but the one that's further south is the better of the 2. Here are the websites, hope this helps...

I ride at Earlywine's indoor track all winter. It is a great place and the track stays good during the winter. As far as escaping the cold...Alabama or Georgia. I live in Cincinnati about an hour away from Earlywine and I'm trying to escape to the south (Monster Mountain or Durhamtown) this winter as well.

Rode twice at the indoor track in Anna, Oh. last year. It was pretty good for an indoor track, although a bit of a drive from south/east Mi. area. Price was not too bad either, Went during the week and very few other riders. Maybe check around with other local guys. I went with a group of local racers both times.

That's pretty unusual for this time of year, and won't likely last long. I think my kid has worn shorts the last 2 Christmases at Granny's house.
