if you haven't been to new orleans recently, say the last five years, it's different than what you remember. mammary glands are not flying everywhere for beads and just like any other city there are bad areas that you don't want to venture into, but as long as you are in the tourist zone you'll be fine. it's not the war zone that people not from here make it out to be.

Go to Houston.
Much friendlier folks working at the venue and we spent less.
We went to both places in '10 and probably won't be going back to Dallas.

Anaheim I because it starts a new season. There is a tremendous "buzz" at the event and a ton of excitement due to all the unknown possibilites of the new season.

If you're talking about the whole package, New Orleans is the way to go. A1 is badass to go to because of the hype, but New Orleans is flat out the coolest city. Daytona is way overrated. St. Louis and Indianapolis are pretty cool, but the weather usually blows that time of year.
