Knee Brace Question / Suggestion

In the same position vie herd the asterisks are the best for the price, or the cti2 brace.

Depends - my health care (in the US) covered the custom cti, which is much better and less bulky than the asterisk I have for my good knee.

My son and I have had the astrix for many years. it took a while to get used to them but after that it just feels so wrong to ride without them. astrix has done a good job of customer service. that's worth a lot also. I even have used mine for skiing.

I have the asteriks and there pretty good. To be honest though I don't wear them anymore. Just feels so clunky wearing knee braces. I know I will regret it though if I fall and land on my knee though. They take a little getting used to but no more than any other brace. Probably the best for the money.

I have CTI braces my insurance covered.Way better than my asterisk braces I had.The pods and the new asterisks look nice though

If you have had surgery or have seen a physician, have them write a prescription for a pair of CTi's. Check with your insurance company to see how much they will pay for them. Remember also this is the end of the year and if your deductible has been met, get them soon. New year, new deductible......just saying.

I had knee reconstruction surgery a couple years ago. I tried a couple different knee braces, but last season I bought the EVS carbon fiber braces and I like them. I realize at that price range there are a more than a few to choose from, but I'm happy with the EVS.

I dislocated my left knee and my Dr.perscribed CTI's for both knees,so it didn't happen to my good knee,my extended med plan covered 100% of both.The only downside to them is they instantly chewed up my seatcover.

No knee injuries here (yet). My doc wrote a perscription for 2 CTI2's as my insurance at the time had a preventative joint protection clause. I paid $25 per brace. It's much cheaper for insurance companies to buy braces than fix thrashed knees...

Same as many others, insurance covered the majority of the cost of my CTi2's after my ACL reconstruction...
