I am just killing time on youtube, and I see a start that looks like my home track (Tomahawk). Imagine my surprise when I see myself lined up next to this dude. It's kind of a funny vid. I'm on the Suzook to the left. We both got sideways. I think this was 40+.

He didn't seem real focused. Not to pile on the guy, but he almost took out the other dude on the Honda.

With a two stroke, I can't believe you didn't just flick it into the lead off the start! Those things are so light and flickable. I would have just flicked a holeshot if I had been you. Wink

No chance of a straight start with his weight hanging off the side like that.. I am sure he had fun though.

I think he did pretty well with tires like that :-)

I'm not the dude on the two-stroke. I am on the RMZ450 to the left.
I have since sold that bike, but I still have my RM250.

I was never a huge fan of the 450, except on starts. Since i weigh a buck fifty, I got awesome starts on that thing, when I didn't spin. I finally figured out to pretty much launch off idle and roll it on, unless I wanted to spend half the moto spinning on the gate. That thing has serious juice.

That's what I was thinking.

Damn dude a couple chunks of 4x4 block would be the best bike mod he could do.

Another thing I noticed there was a heap of dirt and crap on his tire and the concrete, if you want a good start on concrete at least spin off all the crap on the tire

I have to cut 2+ inches of padding out of my seat so I don't look like that dude. It is always comic gold if I need to stop on a trail where there is a slope to either side. It's a slow speed tilt then crash to the ground similar to watching a tree fall after you cut it off at the base.Cool
