Cali High Dez rides in July?

I'll be in Cali from the 4th through the 11th or so. I'll do some rides with my old buds in Johnson Valley. If you're around and want to have some fun humiliating an old guy on a 2-smoker, send me an email through my home website (http://www.thetomasiks.com) and maybe we can set up a ride. We usually do stuff like Rattlesnake Canyon kinda riding.

Yep. I used to live up there. You're ok, as long as you don't fall and/or have to kick start a flooded 4-stroke.

My understanding was as long as I had the sticker from my state, I'm good to go. Yep, I have a spark arrestor, too.

I have not heard that but if you are cool when stopped, they usually are cool as well...Have fun, it's going to be dusty.

Yep. I know. I used to have terrible allergies when I lived there. Now I'll ride with a bandana over my nose and mouth. Trouble is that sometimes I have to follow in the dez because I'm not sure where the guys are headed, and ya end up sucking all that dust.

I have allergies...But in the Dez, they go away. It's this damn beach area that kills me.

Hey, not to derail my own thread, but I was going to take my boy on a a deep sea fishing boat. He's really in to fishing here in CO, but I wanna show him how much more fun the ocean fishing is. Do you know any decent services around the Huntington Beach area? I'm thinking full day.
