Finally I got to wear my RXR Strongflex chest protector yesterday. It fit comfortably with my Leatt Brace and definitely protected me from the roost. This was my first race since tearing ACL at St Louis SX. http://s1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb429/tls1959/

Good call on the RXR. It is the only true chest protector on the market. All others are a joke compared to the RXR.

nice.

i bought and wore an RXR a few years ago and loved it for cooler conditions and spring riding.

also, hard wrecks are no problem as long as it's your chest/back taking the hit

Been waiting 6 months for the one for my kid. He's been wearing one (several now) since they came out. Love the concept of the hard outer shell over the bladders. They don't make them yet for 100lb riders under 5'.

Last 4 years or so only one incident where the RXR didn't help in a fall. He lost the front end and fell with his arm extended out and caught a hard dirt clod on the ribs below his armpit.

I wear mine no matter how hot it is. Makes me feel safe.

Do you feel "blown up" with it on? Looks pretty bulky?

tell ya what, you get a lot of funny looks when you're pumping it up before practice Smile

It is, and wearing it off the bike feels funny, but on the bike I forget about it for the most part.

It doesn't feel bulky to me since I have been wearing it and a Leatt Brace since March of 2006.
