That's a great execution of a banner ad in the right pane featuring EBash.

Advertainment!

I use Alpinestars but props to Leatt for that.

I saw one where she was on her head in the women's EX a while back. That the one?

Poor girls get too much shit for that race. Even in ad's now!

It had her in a sequence falling down basically on her head, saying the Leatt saved her.

Who knows but it's pretty graphic.

It was in the right side skyscraper position earlier.

Speaking of neck braces, check out this shot by BDW from Lozas crash at the MEC: (there is a whole sequence of it, but this one really caught my eye)

None of which proved it worked. The Dr was on DMXS and managed to say a lot without really answering anything.

And there's no controlled trials that show a helmet protects you in a crash on a motocross track either. I suggest you forego yours for a 6 months or so.....we'll see how that works out for you.

Ok....let's see your post saying there's no need to wear a helmet when you ride, because there's no proof it saves lives. Same logic, Sherlock.....

All I know is that I went over the bars, stuck my head in soft dirt and my body flipped the rest of the way over. I still remember the secure feeling of the helmet contacting my brace. No neck pain and I got right back to riding. I'll never ride without one again!

Many of us ride with neck braces and believe them to be advantageous in case of an accident...I wont ride without it now.

there are stafey standards, that are listed so you can choose which one you agree with,

Snell, Dot, ECE, AS1698, personally i would never wear a snell helmet in MX, because they are heavier than the ECE versions due to the type of test used, there is the information out there about helmets to make an informed decision now,

Also Neck Braces in Car Racing have a SFI Standard,

there is no such standard for Neck Braces in Motocross,

i for one minute so not believe that they are as bad for you like some high profile mxer's are putting out there, but i do not believe that they help you in every situation either,

the neck brace debate has at least moved on now, when they 1st came out if you questioned them you were treated as stupid. now the other side is seemingly as bad,

i would love to see testing data on different types of crashes on the leatt. aplinestars and omega as well as the other brands that are coming out, so i could make an informed decision,

as of now, i choose not to wear one
