A lot of people put too much focus on A-1. There's 16 more rounds. Lots of time to get things sorted out.

if RV keeps riding like that, hes got the next year on lock barring he doesnt get hurt.

even if RD gets the ktm dialed..i dont think he will be able to run with RV

i will say i do hope KTM gets a win though...KTM does care about motorsport...they were sponsoring Freestyle riders in the early 2000's..not many Japanese mfg's would have did that, but yamaha actually did.

them sponsoring fmx guys shows their dedication to dirtbiking in general...i know most of you hate on FMX but fmx guys are all about dirt biking too!!

I just can't understand why people have all this love for the japanese brands and such angst for KTM. Ask yourselves a question or two. What has Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, or Kawasaki done for you personally, or the sport in general? Anything they do is motivated by the dollar and racing is only another way for them to get their brand thought of favorably. Also, dirt bikes make up a very small portion of their bottom line. They sell far more street bikes and quads than dirt bikes. This whole generation seems like they are hypnotized to only see the jap brands as competitive.

KTM, while also responsible to their bottom line, is a company run by racers at every level. People who care about our sport and people who are constantly trying new ways to make the riding experience better. Almost every year brings exciting new changes when the others can only offer BNG. More models, more engine sizes in both two and four stroke, where the others only offer a 250f and a 450f. Whew, thats exciting! Well, Yamaha does also offer a ten year old two stroke.

KTM is all about dirt bikes, making only a handful of street and ATV machines. Why would we as a group hate on a company who offers so much to us. I don't get it.

Also, as for the bike that Dungey was riding this past weekend; what do you think the results would have been had it been RV that KTM picked up and not RD? RV still would have won. Right now he is the best rider, mixing all the skill of a Dungey or Reed with an aggression that no one can match.
I very much agree
