Having a blast with Dead Island at the moment!

Very unusual for me to put down full price on a game I'm unsure about ( this has had many mixed reviews) vs something I really want. But I was bored. However I'm very impressed so far. It's a strange game to play and it takes a while (4 or 5 hours) to really get the feel for it, but then it comes into it's own. For me it did anyway.

The game is like being stuck in one those Kill Bill movies but with zombies - the violence is SO so over the top that it's almost laughable. I mean it really is hilarious at times. But it can also be a very unnerving game, particularly if you're caught in a vulnerable position i.e stuck on the roof of a wrecked car surrounded by the undead with only one grenade and the safety of the next running vehicle 200 ft away..... These situations are when the game is at it's best. Between those there is some repetition but no more than any other rpg imo.

Definitely worth picking up as a rental if you don't want to risk the purchase but I urge those who do, to give it a fair shot - 4 hours at least.

Iv been playing fallout 3 alot since iv been to lazy to renew my xbox live subscribtion. Alot of fun you can have in that game without playing live...

Infamous 2 which is ok I guess, I'd recommend people renting it, and World Rally Championship 2011 (which is made by the same people that are doing the FIM MX game) should arrive at my door today. I'm waiting for Arckham City though because I loved the first Batman game, and I've still got hope that the FIM game (Mud - or what ever the hell there calling it) will be good. Oh and Slide Rock on Alive is pretty cool.. The 250 is a fun bike to ride, shame ya can't race with the thing though!

Yep, I REALLY want Batman AC! Along with Skyrim I rate that one on my "simply must have" want list.

The first reviews have just started coming in and they're already very very good. Will be picking it up at the earliest opportunity.

played for about 6 hours on saturday and was busy all weekend. the game is amazing. in 6 hours i've done 3 main quests and been having a blast checking shit out. i love the Favorites menu... so sick. so chill.

here's a sad fucking story... been dating this new girl and she wanted to come over last night and stay over, i was bummed because i only got to play on saturday and couldn't play at all last night. sure i got laid, but i was still a little bummed.

Halo was the reason i bought an xbox.

Halo 2 sucked and i returned it after playing in the story mode for an hour. never bothered with any of the others.
