Well it's finally official.
I was hoping they would get another year but guess not.
Sad day for Canadian Motocross.

With leading edge Kawasaki not returning you might as well.
I think KTM is the only effort left.
I wonder were Klatt will end up after all of this.

As a proud Canuck, I hate to see it end... But Canadian MX has been messed up for years. The BS between CMRC and the CMA made me want to puke. Not being able to send a team to MXdN because they are a bunch of crybabies makes me sick.

Well, I guess we can count on some Canadian Privateers coming south. Wonder if Facciotti knew this was going to happen and thats why he came down for the last 4 rounds.

But are we sure Leading Edge is done?

And BF riders doing the last couple/few AMA rounds was nothing new - the CMRC series is done by then.

Sure is messed up here on a National scale - that part is definitely not new.

I had heard they were folding a month ago. It does mean trouble for Candian MX when the biggest team folds. Fairly safe to say that Colt did know it was coming to an end which was probably why he was down to race in the U.S. Blackfoot didn't make this decision over a weekend and a case of beer. I'm very certain they would want the best for Colt and Dusty and not leave them twisting in the wind. Colt comes south, shows himself to the racing teams and gets the opportunity to be picked up for 2012. The boy has speed.
No doubt though, the "Battle of the Egos" will continue in the Canadian motorcycle scene for some years to come. Lucky us.

I wonder what level of competitiveness the Canadian Nationals will be in 2012. Maybe I can head up there and be MX1 champ Wink

Yeah but if nobody hears about it, what's the point? If a tree falls in the forest and...

RIP Blackfoot. What a run they had!

Nothin' would shock me. Have at 'er. Just be prepared to put up with the Nazi Dictatorship that is Mark Stallybrass and his minions at the CMRC. Seig Heil! Seig Heil!

There was money first from Honda Canada, then Yamaha Canada to help with racing. I'm sure that well has dried up in the last couple of years. Their prices certainly reflected their involvement in a race team to make up the difference. Wow.
