Those little dinky cans of red bull are like 2 bucks a pop. It's not made out of gold.

I have no doubt that they make a shitload of money.

My question is, how can the spend as much money as they do?

word on the street,at least in 4 wheel racing, energy drink sponsors may be replaced w/ odd sponsors.playtex,etc.
personaly, the energy drink sponsor will most likely stick to their extreme type riders/racer and pull away from team deals.

RedBull hit the jackpot with RedBull and Vodka's. Soooo many of those things are sold every single day just in bar's and clubs it's crazy. You don't hear about Monster and Vodka's, or Rockstar and Vodka's do you? Wink

They aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Trust me.

Their revenue in 2010 was 5.1 billion. If nothing changed from 2006 then their net income last year was around 1.2 billion.

Hey Jim, have you ever seen Red Bull Hangar 7? If you want to see a grotesque display of $$$, check this thing out!

from the outside

imagine this being your office (that is a walkway that winds up to the ceiling in the center of the hangar )

...it is just about impossible to even grasp how much $$ Red Bull has.

How much profit can one rake in when selling cans of 5 cent sugar water for 3 dollars a pop?

how many people do you really see that have a redbull drink product with them compared to lets say a coke product? most people dont like it and rather have a monster when choosing an energy drink based on taste. i just dont understand how they are making it off those products alone with the money the put out to advertise their product. of course i dont know their other investments nor do i know their business layout other than the energy drink operation and the highly paid sport figures.

Yeager Bombs, Cherry Bombs, etc. Bomb shots( choice of alcohol mixed with Red Bull) are still popular. Maybe most of it gets consumed that way.

Maybe in the US, but in Europe you'll see RB everywhere and hardly any Monster.
I only see Monster in the supermarket, haven't seen it at gas stations, bars/clubs, movie theatres, etc yet.
And those places are full with RedBull.

Tried it last year when it just came out and they had it at the GP press room.
Didn't like it at all but I'm not a big fan of the regular either.
Must say the Monster is even worse. I don't touch the stuff.

One other thing I noticed in the GP press room: When Redbull was the sponsor the RedBull fridge was always empty and you saw RB cans everywhere around the press room. The Monster fridge is always full and you don't see it anywhere in the press room at all. . Shocked Sick

Monster is doing a great job with the hospitality unit at the GP's tho.. Free Monster for eveybody who comes in and everybody is allowed in there.
At Valkenswaard the fans didn't expect that all. They came in, were asked if they wanted a drink and totally surprised they didn't have to pay. Smile Smile

It just amazes me that everytime you post you're able to demonstrate just how stupid you truly are.

"When the world finds out how bad that energy drink shit is for them"... Please do tell oldfart, what exactly is so bad about RedBull???

I can not stand Monster, about the only one that is almost drinkable is the "Java" one (or whatever it is called) kinda like iced coffee. I tried Rockstar for the 1st time awhile back and it was even worse than the Monster....yuck!!!

I am core RB to the bone!! Cool

Anyone tried FMF yet? Gibby is sending me out a nice swag pack and he is tossing in some of the FMF drinks to try.

I have got to find me a Red Bull hook up! a case a week is getting expensive! But i have cut way down, and now that my little bro is away at the Marines he and his friends arent pilfering them from me, so they last a whole lot longer.

btw Jeff, almost emailed you last night, are you into MMA / UFC at all? one of your country men was fighting last night and kicked some ass! Stefan "Skyscraper" Struve. He pulled an amazing move to finish Pat Barry off.

Don't follow any fighting at all Scottie. I like to watch a good fight but never got into it.
Stefan Struve? Never heard of the guy. It's not a big sport here. Just like MX, no mainstream media for boxing or any other fighting.
Altho Herlings gets it going pretty good nowadays.

I found the fight, dude you have to see this, watch your mate whip some US ass lol Even if you arent into fighting, you have to see this move he pulls, it is so impressive.
