Thanks for the info. One of the best races in Texas! Question, no night race on Friday? Plus, thanks for putting each class moto in a one day format. See you there!

Thanks, we will be rolling in Friday afternoon. We only race the night, so to enjoy the fantastic racing. Any word on a possible pro list?

Was just checking out the pictures of that awesome looking red dirt. You folks are lucky down there. Can that place handle a big crowd because that track looks pretty kickass for a national or usgp even.

I can never squeeze any whispers outta trey. But. Regal is rusty and local. Wharton is rusty, on a new ride and local. Alex Martin has made it last three years. And KW sometimes surprises. That leaves out the 'freshman' who were there last year - Vincent, Plouffe - who could show. Swan regular Mike Brown? TC41 (Swan class of 2009) is probably still lame. Tevin Tapia, Hackley and this year's mystery hotshoe(s), who always show up running up front (As in who's that Dean Wilson dude? Never heard of him.)

It's a great race and a great Texas tradition.

We've handled 10k plus. Room for lots more. It's an outstanding layout for outdoor MX. Elevation, dirt, facilities and promoter.

I have been to many Pro Challenge races, and all I can say is, not a single one was average.

It's really a fantastic track, and the racing is amazing.

True, dat. There always seems to be a racer or two running up front that no one has heard much of that are contending for national titles in the next season or two. That was certainly true of Wilson and Regal a few years back, Jason Anderson, and Lance Vincent also come to mind more recently.

Just don't wear white gear, and clean your bike immediately. I have an old worn out pair of white Alpinestars that I never could get the red out...It was a mudder, but still.

My old white YZ looks like a Honda from riding at Swan.

I had to come back to Dallas saturday night, so my sunday stuff is second-hand:

"Tapia led for several laps and Vincent, Lemoine and Bogle all got around him. About halfway, Vincent washed-out and when Lemoine tried to cut around him, he washed out and took Bogle with him. Vincent and Lemoine got up, Bogle didn't.

Lemoine got around Vincent and won the race. Not sure who got the overall. It started raining pretty hard during the race, so the track changed quick while they were out there.

Hackley looked good, but I think he had bike troubles. Albertson looked good. Probably finished top 10" - that from From Lori Young

Bogle's definitely hauls, but we knew that, as does Jeremy Martin. I think I was most impressed with Martin's 1st moto ride on Saturday. He pretty much got collected without going down in the 1st turn crash that took out Hackley and about 8 others and he sliced through a field of about 45 into the top 10 by the finish (unofficially; lot of lappers to confuse my scoring attempts). Then he ran down Top Jimmy and nearly ran down Bogle in the second moto. Did not hear of him riding Sunday?

Also, Le Tigre', Jose Felipe, from Argentina was at the front on Sunday. Definitely has the speed.

Was fun. Got a lot of pics. A few are on my facebook page already. Will post up rest to a regular web folder later.
