DON'T put up with a girl who does not support your passion. As tough as it may seem, dump her! The right chick will come along!

I'm thankful I finally found the girl who supports everything I do, as I do with her.

One more bit of advice, don't settle for nobody!

You got one life to live!

In '99, I cased a triple at Elsinore.

It's not there any more, but some of you guys might remember it.

It was just a couple of turns before you passed the tower.

POS second gear double out of a left, with a little kicker maybe thirty feet after.

Flat landing that kicker every lap was beating me up (I was 39 at the time,) so I went for the trip.

Long story short, I exploded my left tib/fib, and it took five surgeries to fix.

I hate hospitals, so I talked my way out early after every procedure.

My wife had to keep track of my I.V., change my dressings, help me to the toilet and wipe my ass, give me sponge baths, bring me food beer and vicodin when ever I needed them, did the yard work...

When I was finally able to take care of myself, she bought me a new helmet, and boots for Christmas.

She's a keeper.

Then again, maybe she has an insurance policy on me that I don't know about...

Mine ranks right up there at the top for supporting my riding, taking care of me with injuries, and spending a lot of time with me at the track. After we started dating, I took her to SX and she was hooked.

If your chick doesn't support what you enjoy in life, then move on. Letting a chick suck the life out of you will make for a lot of unhappy years for you through regret.

Good advice on this one. If a woman doesnt whole-heartedly support you doing what you love - trade her in. Lifes too short to not pursue what you want in life because of someone else. Same goes for your girl, you should back her 100% on whatever her hobby/passion is also.

"If my wife let me ride her as much as I ride my motorcycle, I'd be home right now."

I saw that on the back of a toyhauler a few months ago, cracked me up. My 9 year old son was a bit perplexed though....

Woman kayakers are hard to find and when you do find them they have hairy armpits.

You dont neccessarily have to share the same hobby/pursuit - but at least have someone who doesnt give you a hard time when you want to do your thing. My girl loves horses and photography. I got her a new D200 and 17-50f/2.8 lense (looking for a 70-200 f/2.8) and a new 3 year old paint filly too this year because that stuff is her thing. She supports my stuff too, whether Im racing or going with me to races. We will be at Freestone in a few weeks and shes gonna take her new D200.

I support KW859 all the way with his racing! Don't like not being able to be there when he's racing. If God forbid something would happen and me not there....I couldn't live with it. I have been very blessed to share in his passion of the sport. I would have laughed if someone would have told me I would ever like MX/SX a yr before I met KW859. Now when we are off and there is a national close to us, I am the one asking if we can go. I am proud to say that I have been there for every title Kevin has ever won at Loretta's. He is my hero 15 yrs strong!!! :D

Ditto! My GF loves the sport. She had never seen it until she met me. She paid our way to all three Anaheims this year and Vegas! She wanted to go that bad! She also loves going to the track and races with me. Plus she just told me that she will buy me a new MTB bike so I can start riding and racing XC MTB again. Plus she has me play SX and MX videos all the time, she digs watching it!
