first national with the d200..it was a humbling experience..stupid tan vest with stupid staff on the back..give me feed back cause i need that.. i had no flash ..im broke

They look good. The flash thing is not as big a deal as it can be made out to be, especially on a day like we enjoyed Sunday. It really helps most in the middle of a clear day when the sun creates sharp shadows and you want fill.

nah just this photo and al the real photags with there flashes ..it was a bitchin day tho..sun peeked out for good amount of time

That's still very workable to open up the shadow areas in photoshop. Try spot metering the rider when you have to shoot into the sun.

The JLaw shot is great, all the blue's. The one thing that really sticks out to me is the backgrounds are good in 90 % GuyB talked about it earlier and its true,I hate when there is a good pic with a shitter in the background or its to busy. Of course this is all IMO.

true...i always ponder ..how much crowd to capture...head level of the first row looks good..sometimes when you get to close you only end up with a bunch of midsections..i love arms raised or pumped fists...it ads alot to pics..again i guess thats IMO..first time used that abreviatioin...thanks man..
