I decided to tackle my fork seals on my own and found a few problems in both of the inner chambers. I need some help insuring I put the valve on the correct way. 09 kx450f
On one side the bottom O ring on the free piston was broken in half and a good piece of plastic between the O ring seat and the bushing seat was snapped off. Still trying to decide what to replace it with. thinking about the racetech pistons. Has anyone used these?
I pulled the other side out and found the nut that holds the shims and valve on had backed off and everything was sitting in the bottom of the chamber. I took apart the other side to use as a reference for all the shims but didn't pay attention which way the valve was installed.
Thanks for the help.
