That last crash is doing more damage to his head and to his career than you can imagine. He just lost a close friend due to a race crash, and he was lucky to walk away from his. His wife and son are whats important in life and i don't see him racing after he doesn't win next years SX title.

So we are supposed to like Reed because he's using his own money? what about the privateers? I dont feel sorry for Reed

No ones asking you to feel anything. He just deserves respect for not having a ride so he bucked up out of his own pocket a lot of $$ to ride this year. The way Stewart handled his situation about not riding the nats was complete bs and reed went racing even though it was going to cost him some money out of his own pocket.
