Actually that did happen. It was all over the internet and made it in to a Racer X issue. It was during his last year on a 125.

350's and 200's? You think the factories are going to dump the money into r&d and re-tool the production lines? No way. We are too far into this. Look at Moto GP, just because they went back to the 800cc engine, you don't see that on production equipment. Engine size is a marketing tool. Do you think the main consumer base for 450 mx'er's will be happy to see the bikes getting smaller and rush out the buy the 350? All his friends will laugh at him.

As much as we like to think that racers are buying motocross bikes, we are still only a small percentage that use them as such.

They will if there's no class to race their existing bikes in.

Make it 125, 250 and open class again, regardless of 2 stroke or 4 stroke. That'll fix quite a few issues.

350 and 200 would make the 2 classs run differant speeds and make the 2 strokes competetive with the 4 strokes
