tire question

i will be racing on a wet slipery, hard pack track this weekend... should i get a hard tire (pirelli Hard) because of it being hard pack, or a soft wet tire (also pirelli) because of the weather conditions? or an itermediate (MT32)?? that is for the rear, i will be running a mid-hard on the front.

Hard pack tire. It's all about putting down as much tread on the ground as possible as you have no chance of digging in w/ an intermediate tire if the conditions are truly what you are stating. Also hardpack tires actually have soft tread (grippier) compounds.

Good luck, cause it sounds shitty.

Hard pack specific tires are not meant for WET hard pack. Get yourself a new intermediate compound. Nothings hooking up on oiled glass.

it will probably be, weather is holding up pretty good right now though, they say its not raining at the track, hope is the same tomorrow!
