I was just about to post that. You should read the comments - yeah, there are some of the usual "brain dead racer" stuff, but the overwhelming majority are just awestruck that he got back on the bike and got back in the race. Very cool.

No doubt that shows courage. My hats off to him. Chad was very lucky he landed on the softer grassy muddy down slope and rolled into a semi soft mud pile.

The moderator quoted in the huffington post to the extent he has been around the sport 40 years and never seen anybody do something like that.

I would have to say i disagree. I know its a sacrilage to say it in the forums, but Stewarts crash at Daytona Supercross 2011 and fighting all the way back to 7th was just as impressive if not more impressive. All the pros would have done the same thing as chad in the same situation. I give them all my respect.

I know, im going to get bashed for commenting as a newb but thats my 2 cents.

No, I don't bash you at all. A lot of people enjoy the excitement of it and build it up to a point where it doesn't really mirror reality. Like Mike Alessi's crashes in 2008 and 2011 Hangtown, those were very scary crashes. Even the Larry Brooks crash from 1992 that someone posted a few weeks ago looked worse to me.

LMAO!!! Quotes from the non-moto people at the H.Post are pretty damn funny.

I loath racing and motorcycles, but this is pretty freaking cool.

It's a good chance he was out of it but going on auto pilot...I remember playing football games and not remembering full quarters but you'd never know it..Many people do it.

Its not like this kid was special or did something amazing. I've personally seen far worse accidents where the kids get back on their bikes...

A parachute would have come in handy.

Stewart's Daytona crash and comeback, while equally amazing, wasn't a 35 foot eject. I know that moderator pretty well and I know that's what he was thinking...

1) Stewart only came up to 9th... not 7th.
2) Only 20 guys in Supercross and several DNF'd at Daytona

I'm not saying it wasn't impressive.. him jumping that wall every lap was insane.

Just one passed a handful of riders and the other passed 26.

If I were a business bringing sponsor money to MX... my number 1 pick right now would be twotwo.

apologies, i knew it was somewhere close to 7th, 9th sounds about right. I think 7th came from stewart being number 7. haha. And yes a 35 foot eject is impressive. I was watching and said "HOLY @#%" But the way Chad landed was probably the safest possible outcome of the millions of outcomes. MotoGods were lookin out for him on that day!

He voted for Bush... twice.

If he was a lib, the moment after he quit crying, he would have called his lawyer to discuss the unsafe track conditions.

This had to be the best quote:

"How does he fit on a motorcycle with balls that big!?

Awesome."
