that SUX big time get well Soon Austin. I remember when he 1st came into the pro ranks on the PC team man did that kid haul ass . I really thought that he was going to be one of the top riders in our sport. Get well Austin and get back and remind us of how bad ass you are on a dirtbike.
My exact thoughts, I was sure he was going to follow right behind the likes of Poto,Carmichael etc... The good news is that he is still young enough to make an impact. Get well Stroupe !

He will be fine, in 6-8 weeks, full recovery expected, just some simple fractures.

about the crash: he threw it away on purpose to avoid a kid sitting on the track in a blind section.

Heal up Stroupy!

Damnit. Sounds like it could have been worse, but hope he gets a good run at it after healing up from this one.

Young slower amateurs and fast ass pro's don't mix. Do they not seperate practices at Pala???? That sux big time for Austin.. just started to become a big fan of his. Stay strong Austin, lots of fans can't wait to see you back riding..

Bummer. Get well soon kid.

on a side note, why does it seem that all the wanna-be thugs in our sport, cant stay healthy?
If a thug isn't hurt he isn't being thug enough.

On a serious note since I have come back to riding since 2005 all the tracks in Texas have open practice now. It was organized the five years I raced. Needless to say I've nearly hit a few kids. The close out speeds between a decent big bike rider and even decent 65 rider is incredible.
