Reed going back to GP's?

If he wins the AMA MX title this year, why wouldn't he consider going for an MX 1 title in Europe.

He would just have to find a decent rider for team 22, so the team didn't fold while he was away.

If he wins the AMA title, wouldnt it be huge kudos for HRC to sign him on for MX1? Afterall Goncalves and Bobryshev are running in the new factory team this year. Spoke to him about it a while ago...last goal for him would be first Aussie World Motocross Champion.

Cool sight, Reed/HRC @ GP's....maybe JT Racing could be on board too.

Heard Brad Lackey is doing MX1 next year with his 1981 Suzuki. No way anyone over there can beat him.

Team 22 motorsports, factory Honda, sponsored by vodafone? Maybe it might be worth considering.

Be great to see reed win the ama title this year and then go back to gps to go after the only title in pro mx he hasnt won. I think it would produce some great battles with cairoli, desalle, reed and the rest in mx1 (even better if townley could get back to full speed/fitness)
will it happen? probably not! i think he loves supercross too much, now chad has the family i can't see him travelling all over the world chasing an mx1 world title- i would love to see him do it, but it sounds like he's just stirring the pot on twitter (might give him more leverage for support for a ride in the states for next year too)

the constant baiting from a few idiots on here with regards to ama vs gp is very boring

Although one can argue for days about the level of competion in the GP's versus American MX this is a great opportunity for Chad and his family to take a tour of the world before his son starts school in a few years.
I wonder if accomplised US racers have some regrets about not taking an opportunity to see the world while they had a chance.
Plus as Chad moves on from moto-x to other endevours a little extra world wide fame would make him that much more marketable in other forms of racing.
Although he would be missed for a few years I hope Chad take advantage of this tremendous opportunity.
