will a 48mm fork seal driver work for forks that say they take a 46/47 mm driver? or does anyone have a good video on how to make your own fork seal driver, or anything like that?

here is how i've done it in the past. you end up using the tube as a slide hammer with some duct tape

get the tube and seal all in place, wrap duct tape carefully around the tube towards the axle end.

keep the layers right on top of each other so it creates a flat edge. keep in mind the retainers and dust seal must be behind the duct tape.

then just bang the seal in using the edge the duct tape creates, remove the duct tape, pop in the clip and dust seal and you are good to go.

The only way to know if the one you have will work is to try it. If I don't have the right size I make one out of some pvc pipe cut down the middle.

I've used a 48mm driver on my CRF450 (47mm) fork with no problem.
Ideally you'd want the the right driver so you don't run the risk of rubbing the lower coating off by having the driver off center. But if you are careful you should be ok.

This and use the old seal to keep it from cutting.

Use the old seal between the wiper and the new seal, slide the legs together like a slide hammer and then cut the old seal off with a pair dykes,, works every time Never had a problem works every time, nothing to buy or rig
