A simple oversight repeated multiple times, or something more.

What is the deal with everybody being sick (Ferry) all of the time? Is it illness or is it pressure? I don't remember all of the pro's in the 70's and 80's having these ailments. Either you could hack it or you couldn't.

What was the original claims? That there wasn't really an injury? That he was sitting out for more money? And that we'd never see him on a Kawasaki again?

the original claim was he wasn't going to win another title for monster.

look guyb...yer a great dude, a stand up guy. you have to do what you have to do and do it well. assholes like me can do what we want with limited repurcussion. this is yer life...not mine so that's the way it is. let's leave it at that and have a good time watching moto. i can't believe you think i make shit up though..because I don't.

has this come down to what bob said versus what other people said? wow...

If we are to believe this article, I'll put the link at the bottom if anyone on the planet hasn't already read it, then JBS isn't riding the outdoor series as per his "Contract" with L&M Yamaha...... Maybe BobbyM's right?

Considered the fastest man on the planet (when he stays healthy and isn't racing RC), career Kawassaki rider James Stewart is rumoured to have signed a supercross-only contract with L&M Racing Yamaha for 2009 – the same team that Aussie Chad Reed took to the 2008 AMA Supercross and FIM World Championship win in Las Vegas recently.
In comments made on internet motocross radio station DMXS, the now-unemployed Reed discussed being told via email that Stewart would replace him under the L&M banner and speculated that, due to the nature and goals of the team, Stewart's contract would be "supercross-only".
The news will come as a shock to fans of the AMA Motocross Nationals which kicks off at Glen Helen Raceway, California this coming weekend. With Ricky Carmichael in retirement and Chad Reed enjoying his summer off in preparation for the Australasian Super X series in October, Stewart is the clear favourite to win the "Outdoors" this year but his absence from the start gate in 2009 would be a major loss for the series.

Reed's move to a supercross-only contract last year was met with a critical backlash from hardcore US motocross fans, which the Yamaha rider hopes Stewart also feels the force of. "I hope he gets hated on!" Laughed Reed while recalling the "fat-suits" and anti-Reed slogans that sprung up in response to his decision.

Still without a ride for next season, Reed is rumoured to have been talking with Roger DeCoster of Team Suzuki as well as exploring a potential deal with Gibbs Racing MX/Toyota Yamaha. Reed commented that the Gibbs team would be an "interesting fit" and listed the fact that they are Yamaha, have "really good organisation", and the ability to open future doors for Reed in the world of four wheel racing as great reasons to think seriously about a possible future with the team.

Check out Reed's DMXS radio interview here:
