when he gets almost no TV time? I'm thinking the sponsors are happier with a 3-8th place guy that has the camera on him 80% of the time...

What? Hire the fastest rider, because they get results. Sponsors like results, results = air time. Battles = good tv. Teams hire the fastest available rider = battles. It's a on-going cycle.

The way they do the races for TV is a joke they only show the top 3 guys most of the time thats why this sport will take forever to get major sponsors. They need to show all the racers at least once so we can get more big sponsors in. I really think the canadian nationals do a better job they show alot of battles that go to the back of the pack sometimes..

X2. They should concentrate more on the whole race and quit spending air time on guys that aren't even entered. Huh
