Fredrik Noren and Calle Aspegren is riding their first season in the us!
Fredrik is the 2010 swedish mx2 national champion and Calle was in 3rd. they also did som european championship rounds with some podiums but now they are riding in the nationals as privateers in the open class, they are doing really good atm i think and i know that both of them will progress during the season
results so far

Fredrik : 22 -21 -19 - 19
and i know there are some swedes on this board so show some love

First of all, his attitude would not mix well with any given team manager in America.. Sorry..
And by the way, You´re VERY disrespectful towards Calle and Fredrik, when you say that Tom would beat them, cause he beat Ryno..Seriously?
And let me give you a heads up. Vissefjärda is not a typical "europeean" track.. It´s a typical swedish mickey mouse track that shouldn´t be allowed to run swedish championships.. EVER..
And I want to believe they both will improve as they get their feeth wet, not only racing far more aggresive competitors and tracks, but riding big bikes and on another continent, where the heat and humidity are ridiculously tougher than over here.
They both live at MX Heaven in Perris, where Stefan Elvin have helped put togheter a group of sponsors, including Troy Lee Designs and X-Brand. The reason they choosed to ride 450's is obvisously becuase it cost way more to race and maintain a fully modified 250.
What really has been impressive is how they have worked their way up from really bad starts in all four motos and in Calles case, having fever and a sore throat sunday-thursday before Freestone.
Why the AMA or MX Sports mixed up Noréns name with Noven and why Alli/Speed didn't have Swedish flags on the results sheet, I don't know?
They even ended up at TWMX!
And if you are attending any of the Nationals, please show some love for these youngsters!
How was Las Vegas SX? Did you stay for the USGP? Are you back home working again or down here in Uppsala, helping your father?
Aspegren and Norén is the best we have at the moment and I'm happy they are doing so well. I also think they can improve a bit. I wouldn't be surprised to see some 10-15th results in the near future.
I think they are much better ambassadeurs for swedish mx than Söderström for different reasons. To start with they finish their heats instead of dnf in every other moto.

I never said Aspegren/Noren is incapable of better results then what they already have accomplished.
Its hardly any secret Söderström was released from Van Beers on a bad rep, but attitudes may change, Söderström is still young and deserves a second chance if he comes around and dont let his head grow big.

Fredrik Norén is currently 22:nd overall with 20 points. (Thats only 6points behind Chisholm)
His best moto finish is the same as Tye Simmonds, Mike Browns and Chisholms. (12th)
