That's interesting, I would have thought different. I was working with some Italian people recently and asked them what they thought about AC and they said....... who?........ only one of them even knew his name.

It's all the more impressive that Europe turns out so many great riders considering the lack of places to ride and from what i've seen of the practice tracks on video, quality of places to ride.

Belgium is the only place where this happens, but they only have a population of 10 million, the country is tiny and with all due respect they don't have many other Athletes/Sports stars to shout about.

Its a niche sport pretty much the world over, the average English person in the street for example wouldn't have a clue - the only person they might be vaguely familiar with would be Travis Pastrana.
x2 if ask most people what Motocross is in the UK, they won't have a clue what your talking about, or a very very small knowledge of the sport - as in 'that's the dirt bike thing right?'. Whereas when I was on Holiday in the US my mind was blown at the exposure of Motocross I saw.

But referring to the topic title - it's awesome we get the second moto's live on TV in Europe but it does kinda suck you don't get it in the US. It's pretty amazing that in Europe we went from getting the second moto's a week later to Live within a year, good work MXSports!
