Anyone going to Steel City this weekend? I'm heading out Friday night should be either staying at the track or at the Holiday Inn down the street. Hopefully the weather holds out, how does that place do in the rain?

lots of mulch and saw dust. so it can take on some water. big ruts everywhere.

Never been there, but my son and I are planning on heading up there for Saturday practice. We are going to hit a local race Sunday closer to home. Maybe we'll see you there Dan.

Cool, if the weather is good I am going to stay there are race sunday... if the weather is not good I'll be heading back after practice and try to hit something around here. See ya there.

the last 2 years for the national it absolutly poured down rain, and by the time the main motos rolled around on sunday the track wasnt all the bad. i dont think there going to have 1/4 of the rain they got them 2 years for this weekend. and id expect lots of riders there getting ready for there regional.

Thats why I'm going. I have a wedding the friday of the regional so I have to skip practice and drive up early sat morning(like 3am early) just to make it...

Preparing for the regional is why my friends are going, too.. I might head up with them to take pictures, or I might not. Depends on the weather and if I have enough money for gas for my car. -_-;

Yea with the amount of sawdust and sand theyve layed down on there that last couple years it should be fine. I might try and make it up there if my dads down for the trip.

Steel City practice has been canceled for tomorrow. The race Sunday is still on.
