It reminds me when Musquin in 2009 signed with KTM in the middle of the championship... lol.

P.S.: Tickle rode with the Kawi ;-)

Even on Racer X's Monday Wake Up call, the results show him riding a Yamaha. you think someone would have caught that by now ...

Showed Sipes on a Kawi, I guess they mixed the two up.

Tickle was on a kawi. Will be next year too.

Gang, that was a mix-up in the "brand" files from last year. Someone along the way plugged in 2010 brands with 2011 roster, and we didn't see it until the results went up from MX Sports and AMA.

Sorry for the confusion, part of the first-day blues.... But all in all, seemed like a pretty good start to motocross in 2011.

Thanks, a LOT of people are trying very hard, and it's tough when something as simple as the wrong channel on one connection somewhere down a very long line gets switched off....

This week in Texas, I think the plan will be to start showing stuff (practice, opening ceremonies) as soon as the cameras are plugged in. It will be practice for them too but it's a chance for everything to be tested and have some folks at home let us know what they are seeing.... Mind you, it's just practice for the cameras and TV truck too, but it will help us know how all the live sound and sight feeds are working. Just please don't complain too much when they just practice showing replays and throwing to commercials!

No, no ,no. Just show it like it`s the actual race, with fast lap times, focus on who ever is on a fast lap, then you can show some Rockstar or Monster girls in between and then get back to qualifying practice where you can focus on who ever is on a fast lap, with fastest lap times on a bottom of the screen. Emig and Weege can practice commenting by telling us what`s going on behind the cameras. What do you say ?

Wasn't just in the results. On TV/live feed they showed blue when Tickle's name scrolled across the screen.

Kongol, I think you missed the point. His idea will allow the end user to help production ensure everything is operational. That combined with some lucky shots could make for a very cool combination. And provide some realism to the production.

I think it is a great idea, and it shows that DC and his people have some faith in their customers.

SteveS, the people who do TV production are inside a truck or a studio all day and only get the information that comes from timing and scoring. Like I said, it was the first day of the series (and this is a different TV truck than SX uses) and a mistake was made in listing bike brands.

And while I appreciate the hopes to see and hear more quality stuff, the early stuff we show this week will be practice -- just practice like Allen Iverson famously once said. "Practice. We're talking practice. Just practice....."

It's a means to an end, and I'm sure some true fans out there will appreciate it, and also hopefully understand that it's practice....

No, no , no. Just do full production broadcast of practice, just for practice. What do you say?
