Where are all the big air shots from the USGP?

So far I've seen ONE -

Where's the rest of them? I didn't watch that section during the first MX2 moto but with the sloppy conditions I doubt the riders were hitting the big step ups ... but they were def airing it out the remaining MX1 and MX2 motos. The MX2 guys were often doing the ski jump - fender kiss - boner air routine trying to get enough altitude. There was pretty good air to be had coming back down from that section as well. Anyone got a stash of shots?

And shouldn't there be a G-Mang report up by now?

I got this crappy cell phone pic during MX2 practice... This jump impressed me because not only was it huge, but it was SLIMY out there (and raining) in the morning and they just kept going for it. Ken Roczen and Jeffrey Herlings each got over it clean maybe ONCE. Every other lap they and everyone else were coming up a bit short, if not worse. Might be hard to tell, but yes his feet are WAYYY off the pegs...

If a slower rider ( not doing the sequence ) blocked you, it could cost 3-4 seconds. Most of the top guys got bit by that here and there.

Imagine that. Motocross shot/filmed from ground level blows every thing else away. Put some "perspective" (the fucken track) and you get a memory instead of a shot. The close ups of the riders blow. Show what they are doing (the fucken track).

The best film footage of the USGP this year was in 500guy home video. From ground fucken level. Imagine that.

Standing by the log jump it looked like they were jumping from tree top to tree top...was actually pretty cool. Too far awy, but cool just the same.

Let me give you a little different perspective on the first of the two jumps.

Check out the width of the track. Then check out the width of the take-off.



Most of the guys I talked to said the jump face was also a bit off-camber to the way you hit it and direction had to launch.

You don't realize it when you're looking at it from the side but when I walked up to it I was surprised at the way it jogged to the left.

In general, what did the GP riders think of the overall track design? Sure looked like fun to me. I think the REM guys get to ride it this w/e.

There was an interview of a few french riders Aubin, Boog, Tixier... and they all loved it. Coming over to the US, hang out in california and just riding the famous glen helen is a treat for them. They were also saying how well the track was prepped all week before. Saying if it was a Euro GP with the rain that came down the track would have turned into a slick greasy one line track. Here it drained the water well and the track was mint although rough fro second moto.
