Since the other thread about the game pretty much turned into a bash fest, I thought we could start fresh and hear first and ongoing impressions of the game from those who have actually played it.
I just picked up a copy for 360 about 45 minutes ago and am only up to level 3 so...a few things I've noticed so far...
(after one race I turned off the assists, you should too)
1)This game has a lot of potential...
2)The graphics are pretty good...mostly because of the lighting effects, overly saturated colors, and "speed blur".
3)The "taunts" are ghey, so very very ghey, I hope they fix this.
4)Regardless of how "loaded" or "complete" the game is (which is yet to seen at this point), it was actually really nice for a change to pay $43 with tax for a new game instead of $65 like usual.
more to follow...back to the game for now.

The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Also, the goon like characteristics of the rider seem to be very much dependent on how you control the rider and what lines you take...well, except for the taunts.
And I don't think the rider is way too big, I just think the camera needs to be pulled back more. At least give us the option to pull the camera back.
Obviously they're are a few flaws as has been stated but I think they will address those fairly quickly.
im almost level 10
Can you get ride of that errant period in the thread title for me?
Pros:
-Bike feels heavy and solid not like its sliding all over the track.
-You dont turn into a helicopter when you hit someone now
-Cool XP system
-No stupid trophy trucks for story more
-Lots of pro riders
Cons
-No SX at launch
-Not alot of content
-No real story mode just tracks to play
As of right now 7.5/10
If we get SX and alot more tracks without paying out the ass my score will go up.
Cant wait to try bubbas place.
The fact that you can't modify the contents of the HUD but rather only turn the whole thing on or off kinda blows...
Again, hopefully that's something they can update.
Pit Row
It works for now...it'll confuse just the right amount of people.
however, the pro's i have noticed about the game are that cornering just feels better now, the tracks don't get insanely rutted out after 2 laps life reflex, and inside lines can be faster, unlike reflex where the fastest line is always railing the outside. There is also no insane overrev as soon as you get on the gas in the air, the game revs when it pleases to sound cool. still not sure if it's worth the money, it just has the feel of a tony hawk game, vs say skate 3 (if any of you have played those) but it's still fairly fun, but nothing like reflex at all except in the cornering.
From RBWTriton:
The issues are known regarding the MotoClub Pro access code unlock for the Stewart Compound, KTM Gravity FX Gear set, THQ helmets, viewer packs, and other items. Although this DLC may not be immediately available we are working closely with Microsoft to resolve the issue quickly. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Don't purchase it on accident. It will be free, Microsoft just put the store up and it wasn't correct. We are working with them to get it fixed asap.
