• Electronic Control Unit (ECU) determines ignition timing, amount of fuel and oil injected into cylinder, and translates information received from various sensors to adapt valves and make corrections for automatic temperature and altitude compensation
• Two engine maps, selectable via handlebar-mounted switch:
— Map 1: standard and full power
— Map 2: softer power and delayed ignition timing for terrain with less traction
• Electronic oil pump (controlled by EMS) feeds oil via the throttle body; 0.7 liter oil tank features low-level sensor
• Cold start device opens a bypass providing more air to engine
• New handlebar throttle assembly
