Want a simple way to make sure an important bolt doesn't back out? The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki guys use a simple clip like this to ensure muffler bolts in place. After seeing a couple of errant sideplates, we wouldn't be surprised to see them run a slightly longer seat bolt and do the same there. If the seat moves rearward (caused by seat base flex), it's easy for the bolt to become undone.
