The powerplant has the benefit of a whole bunch of Pro Circuit goodies, and some trick stuff like a switch by the shifter that cuts the ignition very briefly to allow full power shifts. They're also running the carbon scoops frequently seen on the Team Honda bikes during the summer to keep the engine cool.
