Stefan Everts quickly took control of the first moto start on his 450 Yamaha. What's interesting is how many 250Fs are right behind him, including Antonio Cairoli (38), Ben Townley, Ryan Villopoto, Brett Metcalfe, and Tyla Rattray. James Stewart gave up his first pick to Ryan Villopoto (just over Stefan's head), and Ryan lined up all the way to the right for a straight shot to the turn.
