Can anyone with legit knowledge of suspension please explain how this cartridge works? The cartridge is the compression cartridge out of my Stratos SR6 CRF50 forks. These forks were sold during the early/mid 2000s when pit bike racing was huge.

The parts assemble from the left to the right. There are 4 springs in each fork leg when completely assembled. Two are the fork springs (not pictured). The two others are the very small diameter and short springs pictured. What are these springs for? In between these two small springs is a piece similar to big bike fork pistons. The piece threads on to the damping rod and fits inside the cartridge tube.

Sorry, I know, the picture quality is horrible.

Thanks to anyone who posts.IMG 20230111 215508.jpg?VersionId=Zez4yVzeNED

Can you take any better pictures?

Looks like an adjustable damper rod fork, but can't say for sure.

Those springs look like top out springs to me. Just a little cushion for when the fork hits full extension. Am I seeing that right?
