Converting an EFI bike to Carb

Anyone converted a modern EFI bike, in my case a 2018 SXF 250 to a carb?

I am sick of chasing electrical issues with this thing and was thinking of slapping a Smartcarb on it.  I am thinking that adding a petcock to the tank and grabbing a reed cage from a SX 250 might get me there.  Not sure how the e start would work though.

Any ideas?

That's like amputeting your leg because you have a blister on your foot.

If the whole foot is a blister and it keeps coming back, then yeah, you probably chop it off!

Have you seen the number of electrical problems in the tech forum for KTM?  It's not like it's a one off.  Anyway that's why I am buying a 70th anniversary YZ 250.

Yeah, went through it on my 23 sxf. Hundreds on parts before a $15 water temp sensor fixed it

Congrats on yz250. Best dirt bike ever snd ive never owned one.  Regret not getting my kid one instead of yzf250

Haven't tried that, I guess it's worth giving it a go before I get out the Sawzall!
