Hey guys, I am looking for some help in regard to the factory TPS settings for a 2022 Yamaha YZ250FX.
My stock throttle body has a cracked TPS sensor as a result of a right sided crash that crushed a radiator. I want to replace this cracked sensor obviously, but I don't know what the proper voltage is to set it at.
I have the Yamaha service manual, but of course it wants you to hook it to Yamaha's crazy expensive tools and then doesn't even give you a proper voltage, just a code or whatever.
I have ordered the TPS tools reader and am waiting for it. I also have ordered a brand new throttle body, and a brand new TPS sensor for the stock body.
I am looking to see if anyone else knows what the factory voltage setting is on the TPS, so I could use my original throttle body. Or, if someone has a 2022 YZ250FX or has one laying around, if they can let me know what reading they have.
IF I can't get that information, I suppose I could just measure the voltage on the new replacement throttle body TPS, and then install the new TPS into the original throttle body, then set it to the same reading I got on the replacement throttle body, correct?
Then I could probably just send the new throttle body back.
Let me know if anyone knows the factory settings or is willing to measure their own.
