The old cowboy is a blessing to all that have been fortunate enough to know him…

The daughter tells of a paint horse named “Cochise” & she says it was a tame horse…I’d assume that Cochise got that name due to NOT being to tame…to begin with. The honor in that name is a story in itself…it’s truly about “spirit”. They speak of branding parties and cowboy names and all things in the life of working a ranch…pure awesomeness. The difference between a farm and a ranch is in who’s telling the story. It’s just like the difference between a violinist and a fiddle player. 

I am just a cowboy lonesome on the trail 
A starry night, a campfire light 
The coyote call 
And the howling winds wail 
So I'll ride out to the old sundown
