Would it help if there were supercross schools to teach up and coming riders how to ride  a supercross track? I remember the mx schools from a billion years ago.

I believe there should be different levels of tracks when these kids start out having to reach a certain lap time before you progress to the next level track. Back in 2013 all my kid had to do to get his Pro license was occur 75 points in pro-ams he did it pretty easily in three races here in SoCal and Arizona. That qualified him for a 250sx license and  250 450 outdoor. We focused on Outdoors for the first year then the second year he decided he wanted to at least practice on some SX you needed a license to get on the tracks here in SoCal but with a zero experience in SX his initiation to the sport was on full blown practice tracks that all the factory guys and privateers rode . He got up to speed pretty quickly and was up to Cole Thompson's lap time in his first month he never got injured practicing SX but decided it wasn't his Jam risk to reward wasn't worth it while seeing all his buddies go through the meat grinder! I truly believe if there was a more linear progression to a full-blown SX track there would be a lot less injuries and the kids would have a lot more confidence! Nobody wants to talk about this pretty surprising considering all the injuries to all the Hotshot amateurs that are coming in🤷‍♂️
