Genuinely wondering which riders (US or Europe) don't have a ride for 2023. I feel like there are so many good riders that just don't have a ride.

Would be interesting to see a list of all the riders that had rides in the past years but no longer have one and if possible, the reason why.

The only top level riders in the US without a ride are retired.

Broc Tickle - Has claimed he's not retired, but I think a lot of people assume he is. The last team he was on (JGRMX) folded, and since he didn't have a great showing after his comeback from suspension (and the perception that he's retired) is probably why he doesn't have a ride.

Matthew LeBlanc - Let go from Star Racing after a subpar debute season in 250MX last year. Choose to hang it up, rather than look for a smaller team. Has since expressed interest in filling-in at a factory team, but his apparent lack of commitment is probably a big turn off.

Ty Masterpool - Had a ride with Bar-X, but was let go. Masterpool has had repeated issues with teams in the past. That, and the fact that it's hard to find rides mid-season, are probably why he doesn't have a ride now.

Honestly, those are the only top riders I can think of.

Wonder how good the ride/contract would have to be for Kevin Moranz to consider it.

Broc is the test rider for Factory Kawasaki now and he's no longer racing. He's mentioned wanting to do a one-off here or there but he's done will full-time racing.

That's quite the bag to unravel. Are there some teams that he could get on (smaller ones) yes but his own program pays is setup and pays better.

However, a team level that would be the next step for him doesn't need him in terms of results. He has to progress further still.

Anyone notice the FXR add with Broc on a Full-Factory SR450…? Laughing

I get the feeling that if we see Broc race again… It will be outdoors. Oh, and…btw, the dude is riding damn well, too. His riding partner is pretty fast…or, so they say. Smile
