Not sure if this has been thought of already but every bike already has the green leader light fitted, the tech is obviously there to have each individual bikes lights strobe blue alerting the rider that they are about to be passed. You wouldn't even need blue flags anymore, this can be done by race control when a lead lap rider is coming within x amount of distance of the rider about to be lapped and they have to immediately pull to the edge of the track.

Outside of the quick lap race(s), I don't get the issue with lappers. Not we've had multiple crashes between a privateer and the leader.

I can't recall races from 20 years+ ago but I want to say every top rider has had to deal with lappers at some point. I understand some tracks become an one line race towards the end, but just seems extra whiny this year from the riders.

Had Hunter whining about Prado who wasn't even a lapped rider not letting him pass a while back, and now Roczen complaining about Harrison. not like this is I-95 and the lapped riders are brake checking them.

If they can't see the flags, they wont see the lights.

Their professionals, get with the program or dont race
