Just picked up a 2013 rmz 450 that has a athena big bore kit 490cc with stage 2 hot cams fmf exhaust system brand new injector stock ECU should I get a power commander to provide more fuel for the big bore kit or would I be fine to ride it with stock ECU and not worry that it's not getting enough fuel IV rode it all of maybe 5 minutes and it seems to do fine just has a little back firing but I'm not sure if it's where it don't have a exhaust gasket after the header where it meets up with the slip on I have it ordered to make sure of that just need someones opinion on if I need to buy the power commander or get the vortex ECU from Tokyo mods any tips or opinions help thanks
I found a PC3 on eBay for my 2008 RMZ450 for $75. Let me tune out the decal popping really well. Check for air leak first, but with a pipe, cam, and big bore, you probably need some fuel adjustment.
